Dance Release

I’ve spent a lot of time being hard on myself about my failures. On top of not always feeling like I belong, and regretting how I have bumped my head when I’ve attempted to coexist and share space with people that just truly aren’t for me. A lot of times the mess-ups and no fruit can feel like no progress. It can be hard to make light or see value in the midst of all that. Lately, I’ve tried my best to take on a fresher understanding by viewing it all as necessary for my development. I needed all the times I bumped my head. I learned more about myself. I figured out how to love myself in the process. I figured out how to laugh at the fact that I really try and still mess up sometimes … and that it’s OKAY. I now realize messing up only tightened up my strategy and ability to be intentional about what I’m doing and who I’m becoming. - Lyn Holland
